ΚΤΕΟHellas – Autovision

KTEOHellas Autovision

Kteo Hellas Autovision

KTEOHellas Autovision is the top company in their sector and far away from the other similar private KTEO in Attica (and all over Greece).

The company has been established in 2002 by three Mechanical Engineers from the Technical University with a Master of Science degree from the United Kingdom and a very high level of expertise in the field of automobiles in Greece as well as abroad.

The company is the pioneer to provide a new way of civilized procedure which, unfortunately, was disfavored until then by the citizens.

Customer daily visits amounting to 800 and 8 KTEO company sites are the reward for the consistency and continuous effort in providing quality services.

NUS Solutions for System Infrastructure

Administration system for equipment and network resources

The uninterrupted operation of businesses is one of the most important parts in the quality of the final service that the customer receives. KTEOHellas, one of the most pioneering companies in the field of digital development and already owning 7 stores, has a multitude of systems and applications that serve the daily operation of the company. On this basis, a real-time system operation control system was implemented in order to have immediate information on the state of the company's entire infrastructure in real time and, at the same time, a method of dealing with each problem.

Integrating Microsoft Teams functionality into the company

KTEOHellas has invested in and leveraged the suite of Microsoft 365 services for years. With the Microsoft Teams application running and the multitude of functions it has, NUS Solutions participated in the integration of daily records from various levels of the company into the application, thus facilitating collaboration of the departments, stores but also the creation of direct reports from the superiors.

NUS Solutions for Cloud Transformation

NUS Solutions, experienced in Cloud Transformation, undertook the migration of the local file server to SharePoint Online and intranet integration from Microsoft Sharepoint online to Microsoft Teams.

The term intranet refers to a private computer network used by a company or organization for internal communication and information distribution among its members.

Requirements Analysis & Preparation

The first step to the success of the project was the detailed analysis of the client’s requirements and the existing infrastructure. Specifically, we analyzed:

  • The files and folder structures that existed on the local file server.
  • The access rights that were set for each user and user group.
  • Existing flows and processes in Microsoft Sharepoint online.

We then drew up a detailed transportation plan, which included:

  • Backup all files and data
  • The creation of the new structure in SharePoint Online.
  • The transfer of access rights and ensuring their correct operation in the new environment.

File & Data Transfer

The files were transferred from the local file server to SharePoint Online using advanced data transfer tools. At this stage, we ensured that:

  • All files were transferred successfully without loss.
  • Existing folder structures were maintained for easy transition of users to the new system.
  • The metadata of the files (eg dates created, last modified) were kept intact.

Migrating & Rebuilding Intranet to Microsoft Teams

Integrating the intranet into Microsoft Teams was one of the most critical points of the project.

Each KTEO HELLAS store had its own intranet site, which included files, flows and specially tailored content for customer service needs. At this point we secured:

  • Channels Creations: Created separate channels in Microsoft Teams for each store, ensuring users can easily find the information they need.
  • Content Transfer: Transferred all files and flows from Microsoft Sharepoint online to the corresponding Microsoft Teams channels.
  • Access Rights Setup: The same access rights that existed in the old system were implemented, ensuring that each user only had access to the data they were assigned.

Training & Support

The success of the transition also depends on the training of users on the new platform. We provide extensive training and support to KTEO HELLAS users, including:

  • Training courses on using SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
  • User guides and training videos.
  • Post-migration support to resolve any issues and queries.

The Benefits of Moving to Microsoft 365

Improved Accessibility: Users can access files and intranet sites from anywhere and anytime, improving their flexibility and productivity.

Data Security: Microsoft 365 offers advanced security features, ensuring corporate data is protected.

Increased Collaboration: Integration with Microsoft Teams allows users to collaborate in real time, facilitating communication and project management.

Reduced Maintenance Costs: Moving to the cloud reduces maintenance costs of on-premises infrastructure and eliminates the need for constant hardware upgrades.

Automatic Updates: Microsoft 365 services are automatically updated, ensuring users always have access to the latest features and security fixes.
